I got on the water for a little bass action before the big game. Everyone (all 6 of us)was in on the $5.00 JP, today we were going for most fish caught. It ended up being a duel between myself and Mark Pierpont, however I stayed put on a reef I found and scratched out a couple more than he did. Trick today was the slow trolled 5" Rainbow fishtrap on 10 lb P-line. Great summer like weather, and a good group to fish with. My final count was 6 Calicos, and 1 sandbass (2-3/4 lb). Fish were in tight in only 25-30 feet of water. Till the next weather window allows. TL Rhino
