Hit County line, against my better judgement. Weather was ok, but the uphill windswell and down hill current made for some bumpy seas. On the water at 7:00 off around 11:00. First fish was a just legal Calico bass, released to fight another day. Next two fish came off the flats, both sandbass in the 2-1/2 lb. range. One fell for my favorite go to lure, a 5" Rainbow fishtrap swimbait on a 1 oz. Chrome w/ eyes head, the other took a white bucktail jig tipped with squid. All bites were on or just off the bottom.
